Kaseda is a small city in Kagoshima prefecture. It's a bit off the beaten track, because it has been a long time since they closed the railway and the only way to get there (unless you have a car) is on a slow bus from Kagoshima Chuo Station.

Ritsuko's elder brother and his family were living in Kaseda for a couple of years and these are some photos taken on our second day there visiting them.
