Special Service

Hakata Station, Fukuoka, Japan

This 700 series is on a special not stop service from Hakata Station (Fukuoka) to Himeji. It has been chartered by a High School on an excursion. It just goes to show how big Japan's population is when a high school charters an whole 16 carriage Shinkansen, which they filled up with students, teachers, tour guides and photographers. They had at least two photographers on each carriage each with an Canon EOS1-? (didn't get a close enough look to see if they were film or digital).
