For this reason it is best to leave this bird unaged.
However, it is more likely to be a first-winter because the remiges appear browner than the centres of the replaced secondary coverts indicating that they are the feathers it fledged with.
On the other hand, there is only one age of greater coverts which is more indicative of an adult bird's complete moult.
