These shots are just an example of what I can do with basic photo gear in a plain hotel or apartment room with just my flashes, photo umbrellas, and other portable gear for lighting. Keep in mind that these were all photographed in the entryway of the model's tiny studio apartment.
Although we were limited to an area of only about 6ft x 6ft with a plain tan wall and simple wooden floor for the backgrounds, I think that the results came out quite nicely! Also note how differently I can make the same plain background wall look in each shot.
The model was amazed when she saw the final results of our shoots together, and was thrilled that they looked like they were done in a studio. What do you think?
Hotel suites are even better since they tend to be spacious, clean, and uncluttered, with lots of great furniture to use as props!
Very nice work! what was your lighting gear? did you shoot on cams flasher? or are you using an off cam flash? the lights were so soft did you use a soft box flash or an umbrella maybe? thanks! i love you shots! and a lovely model too.
