As I know it, suction cup therapy is the use of suction to increase the blood flow to the treated area. This method uses cups that a hand vacuum is applied to, which draws up the skin and anything connected to it, into the cup. Often the cups are heated and as they cool a suction is created, which does not require the use of the hand vacuum device. The reason for this particular application I do not know. The office for this work was set up on the main street, which is very common.
