How old and needy before someone helps?

This was a very elderly woman. I hope she was sleeping because she was not moving. There was the equivalent of 6 cents in her bowl for money. We gave her more but not as much as she really needed.

i agree this image really made me think about the sharp contrast, and the way this world works: the rich plead ignorance to the poor

John this shot hits me right in the eye, the contrast of two different worlds, not seeing and knowing each other.
