Hello, my husband and I have a few ivory nuts inside the shells that we brought back from (then) Ponape Island after we finished our Peace Corps time there. They look exactly as they did when we picked them up under the trees at the Ag Station in the 1970s. If we shake them, we can here the hard nuts inside. Is there any chance of locating a few more these days?

Love your photos! We had never seen the ivory nut carved.

Wishes, Linda and Jim
