Townsley graffiti cleaning, October 20 to 23, 2008

Photographs showing graffiti removal at Battery Townsley during the period October 20 thru 23, 2008. Primary work was carried out by NPS maintenance worker Tom Bueno with assistance from VIPs John Martini & Greg Jennings, and NPS intern Laura Abbott.

During this project, the following areas of Battery Townsley were cleaned of graffiti (also see attached floor plan):

- Powder magazine 1
- Projectile magazines 2 & 3
- Unpainted areas of main corridor
- Radiator room entrance 7
- Casemate #1 (not included on plan)
