Celebrating our Culture during the Holidays in the Seattle Center House
The Ethnic Heritage Council and Seattle Center present the Seventh Annual Winter Worldfest, November 24-26, in the Seattle Center House. The festival featured some of the area’s best ethnic entertainment in music and dance performances all three days, a Holiday World Market, kids’ activities and more!
The multi-cultural celebration featured a world of entertainment, over 25 performance ensembles, focusing on ethnic music and dance during the Holidays. Performances included: Academy of Peruvian Folk Dances, Keith Highlander Pipe Band and the Marian Webb Dancers, Morning Star Korean Cultural Center and Vela Luka Croatian Dance Ensemble with Ruže Dalmatinke Orchestra.
The “Dolls of the World” exhibit, displaying over 100 dolls in ethnic costumes, will come to the festival this year. This display is a favorite of both kids and adults. Also “Creative Constructions” LEGO Display by LEGO artist Dan Parker. Kids play with LEGO’s 12-4 each day!
