Bursting water balloons

The speed which a balloon ruptures is almost supersonic, whereas the time it takes for the water to disperse is fairly long. This in turn gives a quite interesting effect where the water continues keeps its shape, even after the balloon rubber has disappeared.

3.2 seconds exposure time is correct. The shot is taken in complete darkness and the actual exposure is done with a flashgun having a burst time of around 1/4000 second.

exposure time 3.2 sec to shoot those photos without flash must wrong. you also hide the flash synchronize device too..... wooo>>>>
