This is to me a stunning place. Four ships of a widely varied vintage and purpose just left to deteriorate. What happened here really ? Presumably the winter came and the ferries were brought up on land for the season and yearly overhaul... And then... Bankruptcy ? Mr Ferry died during the winter season ? An enthusiast that went out of steam ? When - twenty-thirty-forty years ago ? Whatever, what about the former navy vessel sunken in the bay ?....
