Although the narrow gauge network "Roslagsbanan" will have to wait for its 150th anniversary until 2035, a vintage train was put together, headed by the 2-8-0 "Thor" of 1909. Further, the non-superheated locomotive "Thor" does not have its roots at Roslagsbanan either. Most likely, however, only some hard-core train buffs would argue against this slight "violation" of train history.
Whatever - kudos to the guys of Uppsala based museum railway SRJmf and the vintage club of Roslagsbanan (RBV) for a great five-day event and Thor's high degree of polish. The weather was great from an extravaganza perspective, but posed some challenges to the photographer. Intense spring sun, haze and very desaturated colors. Well - never mind - it was great to walk around in T-shirt for the first time this year :)
The complete train was made up of BLJ 5 (SRJmf), Fp 229 (RBV), Bp 896 (RBV), Bp 880 (RBV), Co 89 (SRJmf), Co 33 (SRJmf) and Co 70 (SRJmf)
The pictures are all more or less in chronological order, starting with the first tour on Saturday May 6th.

The prescense of the BLJ 5 at "Roslagsbanan" isn't that much of a violation of history; An engine of the same class, the SRJ 18, was in use there (albeit with a three-axle tender)
