My previous trip in June-July was simply not enough, so I had to go there again... I hoped to enjoy the beginning of the autumn, but it was fairly warm for being in end of August, and the northern nature's spectacular colors, usually found at the time was nowhere to be seen. Well, after all, it was a great trip anyway.

Hi,
I am from India and India has some of the densest Railway Networks in the world. Your site is excellent as regards Sweden; In India the powerful electric locomotives of WAG 6A Class were supplied by ASEA Ltd in 1988.These electric locomotives work on the KK Line which is hilly and they are used for heavy goods trains. These engines feature Bo-Bo-Bo axle pattern, and they work on 25kV AC.
Wonderful site on SJ/LKAB...Keep it up ! I love the Dm3 and IORE electric locomotives; do put in more pictures of the IORE.
Regards,
Anirban

It's truly amazing and beautiful... congratulations for your work... after browsing your galleries about the Malmbanan i've decided to go there in the summer of 2006. Is it possible to visit their workshops or not?
Although I'm not a train fan, I must say this was an interesting gallery. Thanks for writing short stories below the photos, and for capturing the landscape in this different and beautiful way. I went by train from Malmö to Narvik last summer. It took me about 24 hours altogether. It was definately worth it. It's very nice trip. Snyggt jobbat! :)
