We stayed at this great place in Fairhope, Alabama. Although it was really run down and full of cockroaches, it had all signs of past glory and we had a great time there. The old lady running the place told stories about old times, where Fairhope had a direct ferry route to Mobile. It was not difficult to imagine how the place looked some fifty years earlier…
