Pictures from the ancient Khmer temples at Angkor Wat in Cambodia remind us of past civilizations, where colossal stone structures puzzle modern archaeologists. Although found to be ugly by current generations, early concrete structures from “our modern time” being left to deteriorate can really be aesthetical appealing and trigger thoughts about past construction philosophies.
