According to my personal taste, Graffiti usually strongly disturbs the scene of abandoned places but in this case I must really admit an exception. This abandoned Spanish theme park really reminds of scenes from the film "Escape of New York" where the exceptional level of decay and destruction together with the massive paintings forms an overall and massive chaotic scene beyond what I've seen so far.
One can always start to think about what went wrong here - Spain with its wonderful weather must be a terrific market for a water park like this one, so a fair guess is that a fatal bankruptcy killed it. Given the vegetation and the overall level of decay, I toss a guess that it all sunk during the financial turmoil in the early 1990s.
.
Though now silent, these places evoke life, movemnet, that once must have flooded the place with laughter, screams...emotional : nostalgic childhood feelings !

Excellent compositions, where in Spain did you find the abandoned theme park?
