It’s interesting to see what you wrote a year ago.. What’s changed, what hasn’t, (especially those things you’d have thought would be done)
So.. at the start of 2006.. continued to be blessed with the support of my friends-including some new ones met this year. Have 50lbs to lose yet. (which isn’t where it should be, but better than 70-and this is after Christmas chocolates) STILL waiting for the divorce to be final-which should be this January??? (we had our paperwork on time- the lawyer kept having emergencies-which is old the 2nd time and Very old the 3rd time)
Huzzahs- Got my DEGREE!!! Got my DEGREE! Got my DEGREE!!!
Got a new kitten (no my toe is NOT a chew toy)
Got contacts-there’s a change after 14 years of just glasses (even had a couple of 2nd & 3rd match.com dates after that)
Stayed in good health (phew!) and am actually going to the gym on a regular basis- (I have tone!)
What to work on- finish losing the weight-hit the gym a little more-that would be good- don’t lose patience with myself or others. (usually this isn’t a problem- but of late a bit I think…) Continue to expand my mind, build on strengths-not dwell on weaknesses. Not give in to the temptation of becoming a hermit when I’m upset or a half gallon of rocky road. Remember to say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to my friends. ;D
I hope 2006 finds all of my friends at Pbase- Healthy, Happy & in good spirits. (or at least imbibe a few good spirits.) Cheers! Dawn
