I graduated from SJSU in 1986, and at that time it seemed like south San Jose was 95% orchards and open space. When I drive thru the area or even fly over it, it's hardly recognizable! This photo is a vivid reminder of how fast it all changes...

It's just so sad. I watched that happen in Redlands. Seems a shame!
