Musician on Street Corner

Hubby asked me today if I was 'still working' on the New Orleans photos..
answer.. "yes.."
How many did you take?..
"hmm.. a few hundred?"
he leaves..
I check the New Orleans folder properties..
gulp..
"umm.. make that 590 files in 16 folders"
Camera is.. resting..
Dawn is still learning/playing with photoshop CS..

Working on the People & Plantation photos today..
Didn't really do much to this photo outside of a minor crop.
It was one of my 'from the hip/waist shots while walking
along Bourbon.
Gotta love that 50mm f1.8 lens... I think I took
about 5 flash pictures the whole time I was there.

That is a great lens for low light as I don't like the flash. This is a great shot. Lots of energy in the musician and the wall emphasizes 'street'. Well done.

Nice shot, the composition really makes me think of a street corner.
Mmmm, shooting pictures and good music, what could be nicer?
