Grave of Capt. John Cravey, CSA , Near Rhine

Capt. John was my great-great grandfather on my mother's side. It is said he was married to three wives (different times), had twenty children and died the day the last one was born. His son, John Jacob, was father of my grandmother, Mary Cravey Anderson. It is also said he was seven feet tall. That's mighty tall!

CAMPBELL/CRAVEY CEMETARY
From Milan: Turn left at red light in middle of downtown Rhine; turn left onto GA Hwy 117; turn left onto Pleasant Grove Church Rd. (second left past railroad tracks on Hwy 117); turn right onto Pittman Farm Rd. The cemetary is on the left off of Pittman Farm Rd. Take the dirt road/path through the field. The cemetary is apprx. .1 mile from Pittman Farm Rd. The cemetary is 2.2 miles from the first turn in Rhine.

Hello to all the Craveys out there! I'm Kenneth D. Cravey, & just wondering about Capt. John Cravey. I'm originally from Rhine, & just curious about where his grave is. My great-grandpa was a John Cravey from Milan & is buried there. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
