City Of Hawkinsville

The "City Of Hawkinsville" steamboat operated out of Hawkinsville but in its latter days was found at Old Town, Florida, where it rests today as an underwater archaeological project. If you are interested in its past and present status you can Google City of Hawkinsville, Old Town, Florida, and obtain this information.

Toni,
Thanks -- it seems that it had two stacks when in operating in Hawkinsville (the photo here); when it was taken to Florida I believe it was modified - thus you see the one stack in a photo in that location (FL). As you know, it is now an underwater research vessel in that location (to see all that go to "City of Hawkinsville Steamboat" and that should bring up the website (and photo). Thanks again.
