John Willcox I moved from Pa. to NC and became a prominent official and Regulator. He also made cannon balls for Gen. Washington and the Revolution and came close to being hanged for all his patriotic activities. He died in 1793 and is buried in this cemetery. His son, John, Jr. came on to Telfair County, near Jacksonville, Ga.
