Julian Williams, Baby Caldwell, John Russell Clark

These boys made their spending money fishing trotlines in the mid 1950's - this catfish weighed 28 and a half pounds. We fished the Ocmulgee, the Oconee, and the Altamaha. Later, Donald Caldwell and I fished as a team and Baby and John Russell fished together. It was fun but it was hard work. We usually had 4 lines a night all the way across the river. We had to seine a lot to catch that many minnows for bait.
