I visited with Albert Failie at his home in Fort Simpson NWT. in 1971 He had broken his back up the Nahanni River and was brought back by the RCMP to Fort Simpson after spending an extra season up the river under duress. He spoke for an hour straight about everything including his meeting with R.M.Patterson author of the book Dangerous River which included his meeting with Albert Failie on the Nahanni River in the last century some time.
