I encounted a major problem with washed out background colour when taking these. While trying to get near correct exposure for the darker coloured vehicles the brightly lit background areas became overexposed very easily.Being late afternoon most of the shots neccesitated the sun being ahead rather than behind, causing the fronts of the vehicles to be shaded. My hat off to those who were able to come up with near perfect photos in these conditions, and there were some, that I have seen. Next time I might try to reduce the dynamic range on camera and/or use a graduated filter.
