Found a mother bear and her cub approximately 100 feet of the road. I took this shot kneeling down about 12-15 feet away. It got a little interesting when me and a friend tried to get closer, the mother bear lunged and grunted her disapproval so we stayed put. Good thing, I was fix'n to put it in high gear back to the car. She was fine at our current distance. The baby bear was totally board and acted as if we weren't even there. Shot taken with a Nikon 8008 and Nikon 70-210 f/4-5.6 lens on Fuji Velvia Slide Film in Spring of 1990.
