The oldest still working cemetary in this area, with graves dating back to the mid 1800's altho there is evidence of burials on this site going back to the 1500's
It was designated a local nature reserve in 2003 and as such lots of the old areas are left to overgrow somewhat to encourage the abundance of wildlife that is present
This has the effect of nature encroaching on lots of the headstones
