The Fujica Rapid D1 was the rather unusual combination of a half-frame camera with spring driven film transport using Rapid film cassettes. It would have been a good-looking nice camera if it had not been for that enormous winding button at its bottom!
Testing the camera was not so easy since Rapid cassettes are no longer available with film. Therefore, I have loaded an empty cartridge in complete darkness with as much film as I could. After exposure the film had to be returned to its original 35mm cartridge to be sent to the developing centre.
