Glow Eindhoven 2010

Due to the dedication of CityDynamiek Eindhoven, from November, 6th to 13th, 2010, the city center
of Eindhoven turns again into a forum of interventions, installations, performances and events
based on the phenomena of artificial light.

The Subject 2010: ‘(Re-)Discovering Eindhoven’

When the night falls the image of the city changes. Daylight is replaced by islands of artificial light.
Brightly lit shop windows and facades, illuminated signs, headlights of passing cars and
traffic lights are perceived as signals in a background noise: the gleam of streets, squares and
roads caused by public lighting. The night - the realm of fantasy and magic - in Eindhoven is the stage for GLOW 2010.
