In this gallery you will find scanned slides made during two trips to the Canadian Arctic.
In 1983 (June 21 - July 9) and 1986 (June 18 - July 4) I visited the tundra near Cambridge Bay, Victoria Island, North West Territories, Canada (now Nunavut) together with my friend Martin Lok.
In 1983 we studied the birds on the tundra between the hamlet of Cambridge Bay and Mount Pelly (Ovayok).
In 1986 we first visited the Augustus Hills west of Cambridge Bay and later again the area near Mount Pelly.
