Thanksgiving; A uniquely American holiday and tradition to celebrate the survival of those early colonists, … the “Pilgrims”, … after their very hard and brutal first years in this new land. Today the turkey is roasting in the oven, the pies cooling on the hutch, the finest china laid out and waiting to be set, the wonderful aromas in the air, and the food is bountiful on our hearth. I thank God for the blessings He’s given me in my family, … in this land that I live in, … and in my health. To all of my American friends, and indeed, to all my friends old and new around the world, I wish this day for even a small measure of the blessings that I’m so thankful for.
