Tallahassee / Quincy, Florida

John didn’t realize that he was drinking his homemade wine from
an enchanted gold goblet, … and wondered why it was giving
him such a strange sensation.

It’s Freaky Self Portrait Friday!

Well, if we throw you overboard, who'd notice? *grin*

Okay, … I give up Dawn. What on earth does me disappearing from the magic goblet have to do with the USS Hornet? (Scratching head in puzzlement at the strange thought process of women.)

Cool... and I visited the USS Hornet today.. kinda fun

Excellent use of the effect!

Cool effect. I kind of disappear into another world when I drink wine too. :)

James, if you look closely, the goblet is not transparent, I am. The candle, goblet, table, chair and background are all solid; … the only thing fading away in the photo is myself. You’re actually looking at my transparent hand wrapped around the solid goblet.

John your freaky fridays are rather cool. This is a pretty neat idea. Great job.

Great photo John, drink up your fading away!

John, this is a cool one. Nice idea. I know when I have a few drinks the world disappears, not me.

It would be interesting to see what it would look like if you shot this once with your self and your hand on the goblet and then again with the goblet in the same place but this time don't make the goblet transparent.

I hate suggesting photoshop idea that I don't quite know how to do myself. Where photoshop is concerned my mind is far more imaginiative than my ability to actually be able to do it. But I am trying and learning.
