Sharp

Tallahassee / Quincy, Florida

This beautiful knife was hand made by me from a kit close to 25 years ago
complete with the rugged, (and time scarred), scabbard. The handle is
solid mahogany wood, the tang extends all the way to the brass pummel
on the end that matches the solid brass guard on the front. The blade is
made of fine stainless steel, lovingly hand ground to a razor sharp edge.
I took my time making it because I thought it should last a lifetime and
perhaps even be passed on to my son.
Isn’t it a beauty?
A real man can make his own hunting knife, …
and bake a great loaf of bread from scratch.
Thanks go to Dad for what I learned.

A very beautiful knife indeed. I love the reflection on the blade, John. I think you did a fablalous job in displaying it to us. Sounds like a lot of love and care you placed into making this beauty.
