Well my dear Husband, you have neglected to say that you contributed to this fire and actually helped me put some rather large pieces of wood on the fire, and I have to say we are both very lucky that you were the one who saw it get out of control!! I promise to not take my eyes off of any future fires I start outside!!! I do intend to start a Fire gallery on my site!
love, your wife

Humph! My Pyro wife just burned up about half of our back yard. Thank God it didn’t reach the trees. Three and a quarter acres of burning hardwood trees would not have been a pretty site. Foul mood indeed! Hey! One of the reason’s I married this crazy lady is that she makes life interesting! Don’t worry Gerie; … you very well may be properly punished for your fire negligence tonight! Fire is not a toy to be messed with lightly, … especially when we live in the country surrounded by hundreds of acres of hardwood trees and live in a hundred year old farm home!

ah, it is a healthy relationship that can express displeasure with one's significant other! John apparently woke up in a foul mood this morning, no doubt caused by the weight of his creativity, drowning out his usually pleasant nature. long sigh... and no, I was not on the receiving end of any of his 'masucline verbs' ! He didn't even tie me up last night! LOL!!
oh my, now the blazing fire I started in our outdoor firepit just jumped over the rocks and it is burning the grass!! gotta go now!! I can only imagine his next post!!

Cool treatment on the photo, I thought it was going to be more on the ring at first.
Gulp on the description! How ya been?

I say " Nice ring!" I like all the words you used to describe this image, all of them would come to mind. I like the close up, it really could make someone feel threatened to see it this close. Great capture.
