I don't much like snakes.Met a couple of Bamboo Vipers in my time, one literally face to face,as it was coiled up in a bush about shoulder high.Sometimes a machete is a mans best friend.
Beautiful shot though.

long sigh...I was there, the day John bought said 'Snake' for his daughter's birthday, and to say I am not as fond of snakes as Dawn and Susanne appear to be is putting it mildly. I have a solid phobia of snakes and almost broke up with John, the day this snake was purchased and he brought it to his home. We were dating at the time, and he promised he would NEVER try to scare me with the snake, which for the most part, he has done, except for the one time he was on pain meds, recovering from surgery, so I can't really count that time!
I don't know if this particular pet even has a name, it is just 'that snake!' to me!

It is known to be a guy thing, but I think time is changing. I owned serveral snakes before and I find them truly beautiful. Dangerous beautiful in some cases. Very nice image and very fitting for this catagory.
