Islay

Islay is pronounced Eye-la, and is the southernmost island of the Inner Hebrides.
Probably best known for its uniquely flavoured single malt whiskys.
However there is much much more to this island for it is home to many bird species such as the wintering populations of Greenland white-fronted and barnacle goose.
The climate is mild as it is directly affected by the Gulf Stream.
