Many of these photos were made in my living room studio or on location using Elinchrom Compact Dlite Studio Flashes. For a year I worked in a converted office space that offered more room for backgrounds and lighting. Recently I've sold my studio and gone the "strobist" route; working with dedicated camera flashes (Canon 550 en 430), Lastolite softbox en umbrellas. The advantage: much lighter. Disadvantage: cost a fortune in high-power alkaline penlights (or rechargables). The result: haven't used it enough to form an opinion.
