Obviously we didn't have enough of this route. This is KFC's/JNBC (Joo Ngan Bicycle Club) third climb to Genting. In Phase 1, we did only to Gohtong Jaya. Phase II we did Gohtong Jaya to Genting. This time we increased the challenge by riding from Genting Sempah to Gohtong Jaya and then to Genting Highlands. Also this time, more KFCs made the attempt, including Leeburg and Pedro, and Kadri. The weather was terrible. It seemed OK at Genting Sempah, but after Awana, very thick fog engulfed us. Visibility was down to about 2-3 cars infront. Towards the top, the wind was exceptionally gusty, in fact so strong that all the no-parking signposts were toppled. Temperatures were also very low -- must be in the low teens because all of us experienced numbed fingers and could barely feel the modulation on the brakes.
