_MG_0826 Mates

It may looks nice and balmy, but it was a bone-chilling 44 degrees out this morning. Nature photographers have to be hardy souls, not "princesses".

Canon EOS 40D

I really like the composition on this one, it looks perfect for advertising for a birding trip. They sure did pose nicely for you.

Well, you all come down to Puerto Rico! It's 71 low and 84 high with a nice breeze. Nice time to visit. I loooooove the photo. Such nice colors.

I sure echo Roy's comment... a bone chilling 44 degrees... man, at that 44 degrees here... everybody is getting a tan... Poor Isabel... the blue herons have gone south a long time ago from here and won't be back for another... 3 to 4 months ! be caereful, we're ganna call you Princess Isabel ! The last time I went shooting, the camera stopped working at about 175 shots ! The batteries got too cold ! The autofocus became veeeery slow (the light oil the manfufacturer adds to allow the movement of the lens froze !) LOL
Your image is very beautiful and reminds me of warmer days ! LOL

You made me laugh with your "bone-chilling 44 degrees. It is -30C here with wind-chill to -40C and -40C equals -40F. Great picture.
