This Morning's Sunrise

Grabbed the camera when I caught this...since light changes quickly at dawn. P mode, -EV to enhance color. Post processing: resize down, saturation up...no further sharpening other than +1 in camera. Update: I now keep the sharpening at minus one. I prefer now to do my sharpening in Photoshop (now that I've learning more about editing and sharpening).

Sony Cybershot
1/125s f/4.0 at 9.7mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Thank you, C. J.
I noticed I had used +1 sharpening in the camera. This picture was taken in 2002. I now know a lot more about sharpening and keep the Sony at minus 1 sharpness, preferring to sharpen in Photoshop.

Good catch Isabel. And you're quite right... around dawn,
the light changes extremely quick. Indeed, sometimes, by
the time I've set up my tripod, the moment I wanted to
shoot was already evolving into something else, or
gone entirely. Dawn light changes extremely quick.
