_MG_8102 Sacrificial Petunia?

This young katydid, maybe a half-inch long, is going to make Swiss cheese out of this Wave petunia seedling. Should I let it stay? By the way, I tried to take a handheld picture (like this one) with my Tamron 90mm lens and I had no place to steady my elbows, so I went back inside for the 60mm lens and could rest my elbows on the stair railing. There are advantages to working close!

Canon EOS 20D

Cute grasshopper, but I guess I'm mean, I'd rather have my Petunia!! :-)

What a little beauty! I'd sacrifice the petunia.

Look at the colors on this little guy! I didn't realize they could have such varied colors. Aww, please let him stay. He won't eat much and you can trim off the ratty looking leaves when he moves on. :-)
