Steps from Top

Caution...if you're building steps...don't fill them in with lava rock as we did. It's very dangerous to walk on. We're going to have to think of a way to make the steps safely navigable!

I would definately add a handrail! I trip easy so that would be death for me without one!

i agree with sal. I would definitely add a handrail. My mother (when she was in her 60s stepped off the side of a sidewalk and fell and broke her arm - complications from a blood clot that went to her lung almost killed her - so I'm a big fan of handrails on steps and such like.) This is beautiful though.

I think a hand rail would help !and the plants will soften it up some.
