I had bought the Stroboflip to use with my Sony DSC F717. Works great with the 20D and is much more comfortable to hold with the Canon than it was with the Sony. (The head of the Stroboflip swivels so you can have the 283 in proper position for portrait layout. The 283 doesn't swivel.)
