with 1.4x converter and flash

Playing with this combo to see how it works for portraits.
Taken raw in my kitchen on a dark, rainy day with incandescent lights.
White highlights on skin from flash were toned down by selecting with the lasso, 3 pixels of feathering set on the options bar, then image/adjust/selective color, absolute, white and a slight move of the slider towards magenta. Although the EXIF info doesn't show that flash was used, it was. Could it be because the 50mm 1.8 II is an older lens?

Michele - I feel that if I am going to take up someone's time by making them look at one of my images, they should learn something from them! It's sort of a payback. Thank you!
