I routinely keep the A80 on aperture priority and in this case it probably was on ISO 50 since it was a very sunny day. I did have to lighten up the guy and his dog because the picture was backlit. I use the Magic Wand set with the "contiguous" check removed from the box so I could pick out the highlight areas all at once and first tone them down. Then I inverted the selection and did a shadows adjustment (or it could have been levels) on the guy and the dog. Check the EXIF info for the rest of the details.

To get an immediate shot like this, what do you always have your camera set to? I just can't see fiddling with ev, iso, or shutter speed when you just want a quick capture or the moment is gone.
