The "blur" option in Portrait Mode on this phone did a nice job of separating the subject from the background. You can, however, see a bit of sharpening halo around the bedges of the subject. It isn't extremely visible, but it's there. I was very happy with the color balance in this artificially lit venue. Often skin colors can be bad with artificial light.
