My Sony A7iii was my camera of choice to photograph a huge demonstration today and suddenly it refused to autofocus. When I tapped on where I wanted a focus point a message came up that that wasn't possible in manual mode, but I hadn't chosen manual mode and couldn't figure out how to get out of it because the Tamron 28-75mm lens does not have a manual/autofocus switch on it.

I whipped out my S22+ and continued to shoot and wound up liking its pictures more than those from the Sony because the color was more vibrant and the sky had gained some color.
