I had to photograph an event yesterday which turned out to be in a VERY dark venue. I had my Sony A7iii with me with the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 lens and it was just too dark for f/2.8 at a decent shutter speed, so I decided to try the phone.

I was shocked at how much better it performed in that low light.

I only wish it had optical zoom, and have been watching many videos with reviews of later Samsung and (horrors) IPhones, finding something wrong with all of them - not the least of which are their prices. This phone has really served me well, and has features that aren't available in the newer phones - like a micro SD slot and a headphone jack.
