I think this little bush is going to be a joy. Just bought it a week ago and its first flowers opened today. It will have red berries in the fall. The berries are not fruity, but the birds are after the seeds which apparently don't bother their digestion. The non-fruity berries are toxic to humans, causing bad digestive upsets.
