New Mini

I am so weak-willed and couldn't resist this mini-orchid at Ingle's supermarket despite my knowing that buying orchids (other than our local Van Wingerden greenhouse) at Ingle's is a crap shoot.
This one had a few plusses: It had two flower spikes and buds and the roots were plump and green. Others showed no buds and dried out aerial roots. A couple of the leaves were damaged, but in total I think it is a healthy and beautiful plant, which I put under lights.

C’est une belle orchidée avec beaucoup de fleurs.
Elle semble saine et je suis sûre qu’elle tiendra plusieurs mois.

I've often fallen prey to the same urge when it comes to orchids! This is gorgeous, so is your shot. V
